For Students & Schools
How We Partner with Students & Schools
At Bay State Physical Therapy, we take our leadership responsibility to train the next generation of physical therapists seriously. We work closely with school faculty and administrators to help design and place their students into robust clinical rotation opportunities. We also participate in university events, guest lectures, and professional development for students. Our goal is to inspire the next generation of Physical Therapists by giving them the opportunity to learn from our world class clinical instructors!
What Universities Do We Work With?
We work with a wide range of PT schools, both within and outside of New England. Clinical students who join the Bay State Physical Therapy team will be immersed in one of our dynamic clinics, with opportunities to enhance their skills in various specializations, such as vestibular rehab, aquatic rehab, dance medicine, pediatrics, and more.

What We Offer Our Students
We offer best-in-class outpatient physical therapy clinical experiences to ensure a smooth transition from classroom to clinic! Practicing under the mentorship of our experienced clinical instructors, students are able to treat patients with a wide variety of conditions. Many of our clinical instructors are board certified and/or have areas of specialty in women’s health, sports performance, and vestibular to name a few. We are dedicated to driving the physical therapy profession forward.
Students can also participate in our virtual Continuing Education Program to expand their clinical skills. Past course topics include:
- ACL Injury Prevention
- Thrower’s Shoulder: Acute Injury through Return to Sport
- Shoulder Instability
- Manual Therapy
- And even a course on foundations of personal finance for Physical Therapists!
These courses are offered virtually and free-of-charge to those who register. Learn more about our Continuing Education Program.
Support As You Prep for Your Exams
Supporting new physical therapy graduates is incredibly important to us. We care about their long-term growth and development. When our Physical Therapists succeed, our clinics succeed, and most importantly, our patients receive the best care possible.

That’s why we’ve partnered with NPTE Final Frontier, a premier PT board prep company designed to help students pass the NPTE. Through this program, new physical therapy graduates have access to an 11-week intensive course, along with materials to help them pass their boards.

Meet Our Team

Erica Feitler, Director of University Relations
Erica has always had a passion for health and wellness, competing as a level 10 gymnast throughout high school. After a torn ACL closed the door on her elite gymnastics career, physical therapy opened the door to her next endeavor as an international level CrossFit athlete. She was so impressed with how her physical therapist was able help her return to elite level athletics, she decided to pursue a career as Doctor of Physical Therapy graduating from Northeastern University in 2014.
Erica spent most of her first eight years practicing in the outpatient orthopedic space specializing in sports medicine, orthopedics, and gymnastics injuries. She held several leadership roles where she opened a new PT clinic, and oversaw multiple PT clinic locations. In 2021 Erica completed her MBA from the Isenberg School of Management to build on her expertise in business and management. Erica joined Cypress Health Partners in 2022, passionate about supporting students navigate the transition from classroom to clinic.
In her spare time, you can find her training for CrossFit and spending time with her friends and family!
